The peoples of the two countries have enjoyed traditionally close geographical, historical, cultural and ethnic ties. Some of the important places of interest are Sharine of Byazid Bostami, World War II Cemetery, Foy's Lake, Ethnological Museum, Court Building, Patenga Beach, Sitakund etc.
