Indian Embassy in Paris, France is promoting multi-dimensional relations with the Embassy of France in different fields. The development of India France Tourism is promoted by Indo French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI). The common goal of the forum is to increase India and France tourism by a substantial margin. Not only this, to facilitate the growth of India France tourism the respective governments of both the countries signed an agreement during the visit of the then French president Mr. Jacques Chirac and the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in New Delhi. Some of the main features of the MoU signed by India and France for cooperation in the field of tourism are encouraging the quality destination-tourism, increasing tourist traffic, generating skilled manpower and employment for the development in tourism and travel etc. For the development of Indian Tourism, Indian Tourism Office was open in France.

The service of the Visa is open Monday to Friday, except certain Indian and French public holidays. The requests for visa must be deposited between 9h30 and 10h30. The withdrawal of the passport aimed is carried out the following day between 15h30 and 17h15.

Applicants are advised to check whether the Embassy is working on a particualr day. An appropriate notice is put up in the Embassy premise about the forthcoming holidays.
