Travelling northwards, one magnificent temple followed another and climaxed with mighty Pyramids.

A visit of Egypt allows you to follow in the footsteps of the many great explorers’ who came before, taking in the spellbinding sites of the colossal Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza and the hieroglyph-lined Karnak Temple and Valley of the Kings tombs in Luxor. You can take a closer look at the remarkable findings discovered by archaeologists and tomb raiders alike in Cairo’s Egyptian Museum.

Day 01 - Arrive Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo airport and after clearing the immigrations and customs, look for your name placard. Here our airport representative will welcome and meet you and later you will be transferred the hotel in air conditioned vehicle. Later day at leisure.

Overnight: Cairo

Day 02 - Cairo - Aswan - Cruise

Early breakfast at the hotel, later transfer to Cairo airport for flight to Aswan. Arrive Aswan airport, meet and greet and later transfer to the Nile Cruiser. In Route you will visit the High Dam which is built by President Nasser to control the floating of the Nile. Embark your cruiser. Lunch on board. Continue to visit Unfinished Obelisk and the Philae Island where the Temple of Isis, rising off the waters of lake Nasser situated. Afternoon enjoy a Felucca ride. Dinner on board.

Day 03 - Cruise

Breakfast on board. Sail to Kom Ombo to visit Kom Ombo Temple, the twin sanctuaries of crocodile- headed Haroeris, uniquely set, side by side, in a single picturesque Ptolemic temple on a Hill overlooking the Nile. Lunch on board. Later sail to Edfu. Dinner on board.

Day 4 - Cruise

Breakfast on board. Today visit the Temple of Hours in Edfu, as a sun God Horus ’temple had a daily importance to the ancient Egyptians: this is reflected in the attention to detail in the design and construction found there. Sail to Luxor via Esna Lock. Lunch on board. Later visit the East Bank of the Nile (Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple) with its beautiful temple of Amun-Re and Hypostyle Hall, the largest Hall of any temple in the world.

Day 5 - Cruise - Luxor - Cairo

Early breakfast on board. Visit the West Bank of the Nile. The Valley of Kings and Queens where sixty-four of Egypt’s rulers were buried in ornate tombs. After lunch you will continue the tour visiting the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Dier El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon facing the Nile. Then you will be transferred to Luxor airport for your flight to Cairo. Arrive Cairo airport, meet and greet and transfer to the hotel.

Day 6 - Cairo

After breakfast at hotel, you will start your tour visiting the Coptic Museum, Abu Serga Church and Hanging Church which is built into the walls of the Water Gate of the Roman fortress. Continue your tour visiting the Salah El Din Citadel which was constructed by Salah El Din on the Moqattam hills to defend Cairo from the armies of Crusaders. Later visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, built for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt.

Day 7 - Cairo

After breakfast, you will start your tour visiting the Pyramids of Giza, home to the mummies of three pharaohs - Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Proceed to the Great Sphinx, a wondrous structure created from a single piece of stone forming the head of a pharaoh with the body of a lion then visit Papyrus Factory store. Continue your tour visiting the Egyptian Museum, an unrivaled warehouse of Pharaonic treasures. Among the many exhibits are the fabulous artifacts recovered by archeologist Howard Carter from the tomb of Tutankhamen. Later continue to Khan El Khalili bazaar.

Day 8 - Cairo - Alexandria

After breakfast, departure to Alexandria by car (approx. 03 hours drive). Arrival Alexandria, check in at the hotel.

Day 9 - Alexandria - Cairo

Breakfast at the hotel. Start Alexandria tour with local guide, visiting The Library of Alexandria, Pompey Pillar, the Catacombs of Kom Shokafa, the Palace of El Montazah and the Fort of Quitbay (from the outside).

Day 10 - Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Cairo International airport for your flight back home.
