Day 01 - Arrive Casablanca

Upon arrival at the Casablanca airport, you will be welcomed by your driver & guide, who were waiting for your arrival with a signboard in your name, just outside the exit gate.
You will be transferred to your hotel. Check in and relax. Day is free today.
You are now in Casablanca, a port city and commercial hub in western Morocco, fronting the Atlantic Ocean, displaying its French colonial legacy in its downtown Moresque architecture, a blend of Moorish style and European art deco.
A village of Amazigh people (Berber) called Anfa stood on the present-day site in the 12th century; which became a pirates' base for harrying Christian ships and was destroyed by the Portuguese in 1468. The Portuguese returned to the area in 1515 and built a new town called Casa Branca (“White House”) – now known as Casa Blanca.

It is a cultural city with a rich history evident even from its streets and public squares, which are full of masterpieces. Rabat also has a well-developed ocean front. There are miles of improved beaches that run along the Atlantic coast all the way to the neighboring Casablanca. Rabat celebrates music like no other city: Mawazine, Jazz at the Chellah and other festivals fill the air with joyful sounds and rhythms from around the world!
Your visit will take you to to the Kasbah of the Udayas - the city’s oldest quarter, which was built during the Almohad dynasty. The tightly packed neighborhood has evolved through the centuries, with many of its signature, whitewashed and blue-based houses built by Moroccan refugees from Spain during the 16th century. Today, there are many highlights to behold during a visit to Rabat’s wall- and tower-surrounded Kasbah. Entrance through the grand 12th-century Almohad gate of Bab Oudaia hints at the discoveries to come, including a walk down the neighborhood’s main street RuaJamaa and the city’s oldest mosque, El Atiqa.
Proceed to see the outside view of Dar-al-Makhzen (or El MechouarEssaid Palace), the official residence of Moroccan royalty.
Rising above the northeastern corner of Rabat, Hassan Tower (Tour Hassan) stands as a visual promise of what the city’s historic residents hoped it to be: a grand city, when Its construction began in 1195 during the Almohad Dynasty, and it was built as part of a larger mosque, which was meant to be the largest in the world. But with the demise of Sultan, the mosque remained unfinished, and its minarets (the towers) are only 44 meters high (some say half as high as it would have been). Then, come an earthquake in 1755, the incomplete mosque was further destroyed.
You will see the survivingsandstone Hassan Tower, along with the mosque’s remains, such as the columns and walls. Other highlights include impressive city and sea views, as well as a visit to the nearby, Mausoleum of Mohammed V.
